Direction

Larry, a former conservative Jew, was at a party when he ran into one of his old friends from college. "What are you doing here, Larry? You were always so outspoken about your beliefs in College. Yet now I find you surrounded by hippies, eating carelessly and smoking pot."

"True. That's the trip I was on then. But one evening I actually started listening to myself and hearing what I was saying for the first time and that's when I realize something important."

"What was that?"

"I was defiled more by what was coming out of my mouth than by what others were putting into theirs."
